Sonoma County Sheriff's Office Magazine Policy
Per the Sheriff High-capacity magazines are not allowed for firearms listed on CCW permits.

MAGAZINE CAPACITY:
The CCW license specifies the firearm’s model, serial number, and caliber but does not define magazine capacity. If the firearm and magazine are legal to possess in the State of California, and the firearm is approved for inclusion on the license, a CCW license holder may carry it.
- California firearms laws and regulations are subject to change. It is the responsibility of the owner or applicant to ensure that both the firearm and magazine comply with California law at the time of carry.
- Any violations of state laws or regulations, or failure to comply, will result in the immediate suspension and/or revocation of a license.
