San Rafael CCW Permit Classes

CCW classes

New issue CCW classes are a minimum of 16 hours and CCW Renewal class is a minimum of 8 hours.  Day 1 is for both new and renewal of permits and starts with 4 hours of defensive pistol training.  A fun and challenging class that will push your shooting to new levels. After a 1 hour break we will meet at our classroom for the first day of lecture topics.  Renewals only need to attend day1. Day 2 is continuing education for new issue permits and is all discussion with real world CCW topics. 

When you walk out our door you will have an intimate and logistical understanding of not only the laws, but your liabilities and responsibilities as a CCW holder in California. 

Range sessions require a minimum of 350 rounds for training plus 50 rounds per firearm for qualification. We need to see safety, control, knowledge and confidence with all of your firearms. Distances for qualifications are 15 yards and closer.

If you are coming up on a renewal, please contact us at least 60 days in advance. This will allow enough time for range, class and your agency to process the paperwork.

CCW Update or Additions

If you have a new firearm you would like to add to your permit, simply signup for our CCW update option.  We will have on you on and off the range in the first group so you can keep you day open.  If you are taking defensive pistol with us or doing a renewal, adding a new gun is part of that class.
